A lista de indicados para todas as 84 categorias incluía a cantora americana Lizzo, a artista com mais indicações, cotada para oito troféus, incluindo os mais importantes -gravação do ano e disco do ano.
Mas a grande vencedora foi Billie Eilish. A artista de 18 anos levou para casa os quatro principais troféus: gravação do ano, álbum do ano, artista revelação e música do ano.
